Hi! My name is Madison Roberts and I am new-"ish" to the small business world. I started decorating cookies at the end of maternity leave in 2023. Once i went back to my full-time job, i did not have a lot of time for cookies; therefore, i just made cookies for family events. i then realized making and decorating cookies was a hobby that brought me joy and was "therapy" to myself. that is when i decided i needed more reasons to attend my therapy sessions with cookies and decided to create my own llc and licensed cottage food operation. I have been fully operating since February of 2025 and have loved every minute of it! i am so blessed to have the supports and supporters in my life to help this small business grow bigger than i could have ever imagined, so thank you!!!

 

​here is a little more about me personally...

i am a boy mom - i have the most precious two-year old and two precious fur babies. all of their personalities combined make for a great time! i have the most supportive husband, who has encouraged me and supported me through starting this second job.

i have the privilege of working in a profession that supports youth who have been abused and neglected - i am the program director at jesse's house, which is a local non-profit that provides shelter, support, services and love to this affected population. this job can be rather demanding at times, but oh so rewarding at others. i like to say this is where i get to be a "girl mom". if you feel led, please check us out at www.jesseshouse.org to see how you can get involved.
